1. Who operates the service
SocialPageFinder, available at https://www.socialpagefinder.com, is operated under the business name FarmGateRun, based in Queensland, Australia (we, us and our).
Legal operator: Shane Thomas, trading as FarmGateRun.
Contact us about the service, these terms, corrections or complaints at admin@socialpagefinder.com. We refer to people browsing, registering or contributing as you.
2. What SocialPageFinder does
SocialPageFinder is an independent directory of social pages, creators, businesses and community organisations. Listings include descriptions and links to third-party services. A listing may be contributed by its operator, recommended by another person, or imported from a source whose permission we have reviewed.
A listing does not necessarily mean its subject has registered with us, endorsed us, or claimed that listing. An ownership-verification label indicates that we have reviewed evidence of management rights. It does not guarantee identity, qualifications, trustworthiness, product quality or safety.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by a social platform merely because we link to it. We do not require users to follow, like or share external pages in return for a listing.
3. Accounts and age
You must be at least 16 years old to create or hold an account. Provide an accurate age confirmation and account information, keep your email address current, and protect your password and recovery information. Do not share an account in a way that defeats our security controls. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
If you act for a business or organisation, you must have its authority. Do not claim ownership or management rights over a page you do not control.
When registering, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you are 16 or 17, ask a parent, guardian or trusted adult to help explain anything you do not understand. Registration here does not override the age limits or rules of a linked platform.
4. Listings and contributions
For the standard submission process, contribute your own page and recommend an independent page that meets the published submission requirements. Both contributions are reviewed; submitting them does not guarantee publication. A recommendation must not falsely imply that you own, represent or have permission from its subject.
Provide accurate, useful descriptions in your own words. Only upload images or other material you own or have permission to use for this purpose. Do not copy another website's descriptions, photographs or logos without the necessary rights. Information being publicly visible does not automatically give you permission to reproduce it.
Avoid including private contact details, identity documents, passwords, confidential material or unnecessary personal information about anyone. Obtain appropriate permission where your contribution identifies another person or uses their image. You remain responsible for the rights and accuracy of your contributions.
We may ask for corrections, hold a submission for review, reject it, or combine duplicate listings. We may correct formatting, spelling, categories and links while preserving the meaning of approved content. Ownership disputes may result in restricted editing or temporary removal while we review the evidence.
5. Permission to display your content
You retain the rights you hold in your contributions. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, format, resize, display and communicate them as reasonably needed to operate and promote their listing within SocialPageFinder. We may allow our hosting and technical providers to perform these functions for us.
This permission does not transfer ownership to us or authorise an unrelated advertising campaign using your content. Material edits that change its meaning require separate agreement. Third-party material remains subject to the rights of its owner.
You may request removal of content you supplied. After removal, the licence continues only for limited backup, dispute, security or legal retention described in the Privacy Policy, not continued public promotion. Removing your account does not automatically remove a separate, lawfully maintained listing of a business or public page; we review that listing and any personal information separately.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- Impersonate another person or organisation, make false claims, or create deceptive listings.
- Post unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative or privacy-invasive material.
- Publish malware, scams, misleading redirects or material that infringes another person's rights.
- Manipulate recommendations, create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions, or coordinate misleading endorsements.
- Access other users' accounts, defeat security controls, or send disruptive automated traffic.
- Harvest personal information, send unsolicited messages, or republish protected directory content without permission or another lawful basis.
These restrictions do not remove rights you have under applicable law. Responsible security reports can be sent privately to our contact email; do not access or disclose other people's data while investigating.
7. Moderation, reports and appeals
We may restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary to address a breach, protect people or the service, resolve an ownership dispute, or meet a legal obligation. We consider the seriousness and circumstances of the issue and aim to use a proportionate response.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or correct the issue. We may act immediately or limit the explanation where needed for safety, security, privacy, an investigation or law. You can ask us to review a decision by emailing admin@socialpagefinder.com with the relevant listing or account details and your reasons.
To report a listing, use its report link or email us. For a rights complaint, identify the listing, the material concerned, your relationship to the matter and the action requested. Provide only the evidence reasonably needed. We may seek clarification and a response from the contributor, while limiting disclosure of private information.
The directory is not an emergency service. For an immediate emergency in Australia, call 000.
8. External websites and availability
Links take you to services operated by others under their own terms and privacy policies. Assess a provider and its claims before sharing information or making a purchase. We do not act as the seller or agent for a listed business solely by publishing its listing.
We take reasonable care in operating the directory, but information may become outdated and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. Contact us about inaccurate or unsafe content. Nothing in this section removes responsibilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Fees and future paid features
The basic directory service described in these terms is free. Paid placements, subscriptions and checkout are not enabled for this launch configuration.
Before introducing an optional paid feature, we will explain its price, duration, renewal and cancellation arrangements and any applicable refund rights, and obtain agreement before charging. Sponsored placement will be clearly identified. Payment will not guarantee moderation approval, ownership verification or endorsement.
10. Your rights and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where those rights apply, you retain the remedies provided by law.
These terms do not require you to indemnify us for our own conduct, release us from negligence, or waive statutory rights. Responsibility for a loss will depend on the applicable law and the circumstances, including each party's contribution to it.
11. Closing an account and changes to the service
You can request account deletion through account settings or by contacting us. Requests require identity and retention review; they do not instantly delete every record or an independently contributed listing. The Privacy Policy explains this process.
We may change these terms for a reasonable operational or legal reason. We will publish the new version and effective date and, where practicable, give advance notice of material changes affecting account holders. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Where fresh agreement is required, we will seek it before applying the relevant change. You may stop using the service and request account closure if you do not agree.
12. Complaints and governing law
Contact admin@socialpagefinder.com first so we can investigate a concern. This does not prevent you seeking urgent relief or contacting a regulator, tribunal or court.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. Queensland courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing requires compulsory arbitration or prevents a complaint to a regulator.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to the extent they can fairly and lawfully operate.
